Terms and refund policy

Sarrah Bags is a rental service: you rent our bags, one at a time, and return them. You never buy them.

Plan fee

You pay the plan fee once, upfront, when you subscribe. The plan fee is non-refundable, even if you don't use every bag in your plan.

Refundable security deposit

A plan may include a refundable security deposit. The amount depends on the plan and is shown on the plan before you subscribe. You pay it together with the plan fee, and we hold it while your plan runs.

• Late fees and wear-and-tear or damage charges are deducted from your deposit.
• If charges are ever more than what is left of your deposit, the difference is payable separately.
• When your plan ends and your last bag is returned and checked, the balance of your deposit is refunded to you.
• If a bag is not returned after its due date, it is treated as lost: your plan ends and the remaining deposit is forfeited to cover the loss.

One bag at a time

You rent one bag at a time. Your next bag is sent after the current one has been returned and checked.

At the end of each rental cycle

Return the bag and rent the next one, or keep renting the same bag for another cycle. Keeping it for another cycle uses one bag from your plan.

Late returns

If a bag is neither returned nor kept for another cycle by its due date, the plan's daily late fee applies until it is returned. Late fees are deducted from your deposit (or payable separately if your plan has no deposit or it has been used up).

Wear and tear

Every returned bag is inspected. Damage is charged on a fixed scale — minor, moderate or severe — and deducted from your deposit in the same way. Please return bags in usable condition.

When a plan ends

A plan ends when you have used all its bags or when its time runs out, whichever comes first. A bag that is already out finishes its cycle.
